VeriniViews collects Bob Verini’s writing on theater and film, including reviews for New York Stage Review and Variety, his regular “Play-a-Day” feature on Facebook (insights into playscripts), and his unpublished opinions on the arts and the world at large. Based in Boston, he is a member of the Boston Theater Critics Association.
For many years Bob served as chief theater critic for Variety in Los Angeles, as well as president of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle (LADCC), for whom he produced and hosted several awards ceremonies. He has contributed articles to American Theatre Magazine, Script Magazine, and others. By day, he works as an LSAT coach and law school admissions counselor in private practice, and welcomes your questions on standardized testing and stress management.
Bob has made many appearances on the TV game show Jeopardy!, having won the 1987 Tournament of Champions and participated in several invitationals since. You can check out his clips on YouTube.
